______________________________

WoundTight is  comprised of Dr. Scott Jackson and Darlington native Dr. Andy
Cohen, both Navy Veterans, first met at the University Florida College of Dentistry in 1991. Realizing they both had an interest and love of Acoustic guitar and singing, they forged a relationship that has been ongoing. As a duo, Scott and Andy blend intricate finger style guitar with tight, beautiful vocal harmonies in their personal arrangements of popular songs from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and to date. Performing favorites from several artists (Everly Bros, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Jim Croce, Paul Simon, Glenn Campbell, to name a few), their music is certain to take you back to a familiar time. Additionally, they play arrangements of country, bluegrass, as well as original songwriting.

WoundTight is best at performing home concerts and their music can be
found on iTunes, Spotify, Youtube, CDBaby, and Amazon music. This
summer they both recently released individual albums. Their 5th album as a
duo is to be released later this year.

In 2020 Dr. Scott Jackson won first place  in the Will McLean
Florida Folk festival songwriting contest and in 2021 Dr. Andy Cohen won 6th place. WoundTight  performed
both songs onstage at this years folk festival.
