Come join us April 4th for “Johnny Tanner & Friends,” a concert of original music by singer/songwriter Johnny Tanner. Johnny Tanner is an amazing songwriter, poet, vocalist, guitarist, woodworker, and visual artist. He is the 2011 winner of MerleFest’s Chris Austin Songwriting Contest. Johnny has recorded 7 cds of original work: ‘Right About Now,’ ‘Wake Up John,’ ‘The Main Thing,’ ‘Warm Place in the Sun,’ ‘Here’s to You,’ ‘How Could We Not Have a Song to Sing,’ and a compilation cd, ‘The Henrytown Train.’ ‘How Could We Not Have a Song to Sing’ contains several songs co-written by songwriters in Ireland and was produced in Castledawson, Northern Ireland.
Doors open at 6:30pm for a meet-and-greet. The concert will begin at 7:00.
There is no ticket charge for this event. However, we will use any donations to help cover our costs and allow the Grand Old Post Office Foundation to continue to provide quality events for our community. Donations can be made in $10 increments by clicking on the icon below. If you wish to make a larger donation, just adjust the quantity in the cart. Cash donations will also be accepted at the door.
Complimentary coffee and water will be available, in addition to a cash bar.
